STATEMENT OF FAITH
THE SCRIPTURES: We believe the Bible to be the perfect Word of God, fully and verbally inspired of God. We believe the Scriptures to be the inerrant, infallible Word of God, as found within the (66) books from Genesis to Revelation. We believe God not only inspired every word, but he has also preserved them throughout all ages. We believe the King James Bible to be the English version that God has preserved His words and His inspiration in and through. It is our sole authority in all matters of faith and practice. (Psalm 12:6,7; 2 Tim 3:15,16; 1 Peter 1:23-25; 2 Peter 1:19-21).
THE LOCAL NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH: We believe that the Local Church, which is the body and espoused bride of Jesus Christ, is a spiritual body made up of all born again believers of this present age, which began with Christ and the Apostles, was empowered at Pentecost, and will very soon be caught up in the air with Christ at the Rapture. (1 Corinthians 12:12-14; 2 Corinthians 11:2; Ephesians 1:22-23, 5:25-27)
SALVATION: We believe that salvation is the gift of God given to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ through his blood shed and finished work on the Cross of Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins. We believe that all sins, except blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, are forgivable. (Matthew 12:31-32; John 1:12; Ephesians 1:7, 2:8-10; 1 Peter 1:18-19, 1 John 1:9)
THE SECOND ADVENT: We believe in that "Blessed hope", the personal, imminent return of Christ. Who will rapture His church prior to the seven-year tribulation period. At the end of the Tribulation, Christ will personally and visibly return with His saints, to establish His earthly Millennial Kingdom which was promised to the church as well as to the nation of Israel. (Psalm 89:3-4; Daniel 2:31-45; Zechariah 14:4-11; 1 Thessalonians 1:10, 4:13-18; Titus 2:13; Revelation 3:10, 19:11-16, 20:1-6)
BIBLICAL SEPARATION: We believe that Christians should live in such a manner as not to bring reproach upon their Saviour and Lord; and, that separation from all religious apostasy, all worldly and sinful pleasures, practices and associations is commanded of God (II Timothy 3:1-5; Romans 12:1, 2, 14:13; I John 2:15-17; II John 9-11; II Corinthians 6:14-7:1).
LAST DAYS: We believe in the literal interpretation of the Scriptures in their grammatical and historical context. We believe in the pre-tribulational Rapture of the church saints, followed a literal seven-year Tribulation. We believe in the pre-millennial return of Christ to the earth and His literal rule of one thousand years. Following this one thousand years is the Great White Throne judgment and then the new Heaven and new earth (I Corinthians 15:51-58; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; I Thessalonians 5:1-9; Revelation 19-22).
MISSIONS: We believe that God has given the church the great commission to proclaim the Gospel to all nations (to the Jew first, and also the Greek) that there might be a great multitude from every nation, tribe, ethnic group, and language group who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. As ambassadors of Christ we must use all available means to go to foreign nations and not wait for them to come to us. (Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:15; Luke 24:46-48; John 20:21; Acts 1:8; Romans 1:16; 2 Corinthians 5:20)
