Luke 14:23 KJB "And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled."
Our homes along with our communities and our nation are falling apart at the seams. At The Evergreen Hills Baptist Church, we pray that we can be a light in a sin cursed world. Though there is much darkness, we have the duty of sharing the gospel with the world. Jesus commanded that we go out into the highways and hedges and compel them to come in. Our duty as Christians is to share the gospel with every individual. Our prayer and passion is to go out into this lost and dying world, to reach folks for Christ and help them to Know and Live for Him.

Our Pastor and Family are a Testimony of God's Grace. Pastor Preston was marvelously saved at the age of 24 years old, just 9 months after his wife Mrs. Brittany was saved. A little over a year later the Lord called him to preach, he began serving in any capacity he could (filling pulpits, Sunday School, a Chaplain at a local homeless shelter) along side his wife. Then in 2020 God called him and his family to Pastor The Evergreen Hills Baptist Church. -Pastor Preston, Mrs. Brittany, Samuel, Isaac, William, and Penelope. |
OUR HERITAGE
Evergreen Hills Baptist Church was a church plant originally held in a basement of one of the founding members homes. In 1978 land was purchased on Lee Creek Road and on June 11th 1978 the church was formally established, with Frank Blake serving as Pastor, then in early 1980 Gary Wilson took over as Pastor where he faithfully served spanning three different decades(80s,90s,00s). We still hold to the same beliefs and desires today, to Exalt our Saviour, Edify the Saints, and Evangelize the Sinner.
